Kiersten Farris makes her Casa Mañana debut in the ensemble of Bat Boy the Musical! She found her passion for theatre while watching her older cousin on stage and wanted to be just like her!
This year, Kiersten will be a junior at the University of Central Oklahoma. Before a show, she will “typically make a playlist based off of the characters” she plays and listens to it as she gets in the right headspace. Her favorite type of rehearsal is sitzprobe, and her favorite song in the show is “Another Dead Cow” because “it’s just so catchy”.
As her fun fact, Kiersten shared that she was born in the same place where Bat Boy takes place: West Virginia! Most of all, she is thrilled to learn throughout the Apprentice Program process.
