Sofia Macaluso joins the ensemble of Bat Boy the Musical in her first Casa Mañana production! She first knew she wanted to do theatre after seeing a production of Into the Woods a decade ago but credits her passion to “the wonderful teachers and coaches back home who believed in me along the way.”
Right now, she attends The University of Oklahoma where she studies musical theatre. Her pre-show routine consists of “lots of water and sleep” and finding a “quiet place to meditate” before places.
In Bat Boy, her favorite song is “Three Bedroom House”, and her favorite rehearsal is sitzprobe, which is the rehearsal where the cast first sings with the orchestra.
For her fun fact, she shares she can eat “any type of hot pepper” and is excited about the special cast, crew, and process of this Apprentice Show!
