We are thrilled to welcome Lindsey Alley to Fort Worth for her Casa Mañana debut, as “Truvy” in Steel Magnolias! She says, “I have ALWAYS wanted to do Steel Magnolias. It’s a bucket list show for me!”
As Lindsey gears up for rehearsal, she’s most excited for every scene! “I can’t wait to have ALL of these conversations. The writing and storytelling is absolutely stellar and that’s a gift for any actor.” Stepping into her role, she can relate to the important and unique bond the women in Steel Magnolias share. “While I can’t imagine anyone actually wanting me to color their hair, like Truvy, I find myself wanting to create a safe place for my dear friends to share their stories, struggles and joys.”
When rehearsal begins on July 11, Lindsey will begin to absorb the story and imagine herself in the world of Truvy’s salon. “When the world of the story is clear in my mind, the dialogue comes naturally.”
Lindsey adds that she believes stylists are magicians. We can’t wait to see her on stage as “Truvy,” as she invites you to step into her dream salon – Hello, Gorgeous!
