Joe Dobbs joins the ensemble for Bat Boy: The Musical

Joe Dobbs is stoked to be making his Casa Mañana debut in the ensemble of Bat Boy the Musical! His love of theatre was sparked when he experienced how strong the theatre community bonds together, making it “essentially a second family,” he says.

Currently, he goes to school at Texas Christian University and enjoys a pre-show routine of giving everyone in the cast a fist bump, as well as doing 10 pushups. His favorite song in Bat Boy is “Comfort and Joy,” and he loves the unique “vibe” of a final dress rehearsal, because “it moves you from practicing to performing.”

Fun facts about Joe include his skill with the ukulele, as well as his experience representing The Angels’ minor league baseball team, The Trash Pandas, as their mascot!

Bat Boy: The Musical runs August 5-7. Tickets are available here: https://casamanana.org/events/bat-boy-the-musical/.
