Corbin Ross returns to Casa Mañana after his debut in Tuck Everlasting to star as “Oscar Delancey/Bill” in Disney’s Newsies. This is not his first time tackling the story – he’s also starred as “Jack,” “Crutchie,” and “Race” in other productions.
At 9-years-old he starred as “Jack” in the McKinney Youth Onstage production of Into the Woods. Since then, he’s been in love!
This year, Corbin started at Guyer High School, where he starred as “Miss Trunchbull” in Matilda. “I’ve had some amazing directors in my life [like] Mrs. Crotwell. She’s always pushing us to work harder, never settle, and reach the next level.” Thanks to Mrs. Crotwell’s directing and Corbin’s talent, he was awarded Best Male Lead Actor in a Musical for his performance as “Miss Trunchbull” at the 22nd Annual Betty Lynn Buckley Awards. Congratulations, Corbin!
He would advise his younger self to have fun with the “work” of being an actor. “One good thing… no matter who you are, you’re always loved by somebody.”
Corbin takes to the stage beginning June 4! Don’t miss this compelling story and talented cast – get your tickets today.
