Campbell Smith joins the ensemble of Bat Boy the Musical in her first show under the Dome! She got her start in theatre at the young age of six when she attended a daycare program called Drama Kids, which taught her to love theatre and improv.
She currently attends Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and will be a junior this school year. Before a show, Campbell likes to steam her voice, use vocal spray, listen to music and enjoy some Animal Crossing to calm her nerves before performances. Her favorite song in the show is “Hold Me, Bat Boy,” and her favorite rehearsal is dress because, “getting to run the show in your costume for the first time is so exciting!”
As her fun fact, she shares that once she saw Uma Thurman in the café at the JP Morgan Museum. Mostly, she is excited about the Apprentice Program because of the learning experience, professional environment and ability to tell a story with such talented people.
Bat Boy: The Musical runs August 5-7. Tickets available here: https://casamanana.org/events/bat-boy-the-musical/
