Brett Rawlings returns to Casa Mañana following his performance in Disney’s Descendants (2022), to star as “Albert” in Disney’s Newsies. We cannot wait for you to see his talent on stage!
Brett began doing theatre at the age of nine. After a brief stint in NYC, he turned began modeling and working in TV/Film. Returning to Kansas City, he began acting in regional theatre until college. He’s proud to be a Horned Frog and received his degree in Musical Theatre.
Brett would like to credit his teacher, Penny Ayn Maas. “[She] taught me how to be confident in myself – not only on stage but off stage as well. She was one of the first people whom I felt really cared about seeing me reach my full potential.” Those skills have provided Brett with a career in the performing arts. “I would tell my younger self that everything works out. Stop putting pressure on yourself to achieve great things. Live life to its fullest and that will be your greatest achievement.”
A small win in Brett’s life is thanks to Trader Joe’s. “[They] have the best facial serum I’ve ever tried and it’s only $8.50.” Sounds like we need to make a trip down Hulen!
