REPORTS TO: Director of Development
OBJECTIVE: As the Donor Relations Manager, specializing in mid-level gifts, you will be a vital member of the fundraising team, responsible for cultivating and stewarding relationships with individual donors. Your focus will be securing mid-level contributions by building and stewarding donor relationships and providing a unique and enriching donor experience, including exclusive membership benefits and personalized engagement opportunities. This role requires a dynamic individual with a passion for the arts, persuasive communication skills, and a creative approach to enhancing the donor journey. This position will be responsible for achieving the budgeted annual individual giving goal for Casa Mañana each fiscal year, measured by incremental key performance indicators.
HOURS: Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm with evening and weekend hours based on theatre schedule and after-hours donor events. Full time on-site. Exempt.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Donor Cultivation
- Identify, research, and secure mid-level donors.
- Develop personalized cultivation strategies to deepen relationships and increase donor retention.
- Conduct one-on-one meetings and other engagement activities to connect donors with Casa Mañana’s mission.
- Collaborate with fundraising team to integrate individual giving strategies into broader fundraising campaigns.
- Starting annual goal of $600,000.
Stewardship and Memberships
- Promote, coordinate, and manage memberships with current and prospective donors.
- Develop and execute fulfillment of exclusive donor benefits and experiences to enhance the value of donor memberships.
- Ensure timely acknowledgment of gifts and provide personalized donor stewardship.
- Regularly communicate with donors, providing updates on the impact of their contributions.
Data Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in fundraising database.
- Track donor engagement and giving history to inform personalized cultivation and stewardship.
- Generate reports and analysis of data and donor feedback to measure the success of and optimize individual giving efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of fundraising experience.
- Proven success in cultivating and soliciting mid-level gifts.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Creative thinking and ability to design and execute engaging donor experiences.
- Familiarity with fundraising databases and tools. Experience with Tessitura preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficient in using basic office equipment and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Passion for and knowledge of the performing arts is highly desirable.

REPORTS TO: Technical Director
HOURS: Full time, non-exempt. Hours based on theatre schedule and will include nights and weekends.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and organize the painting of all props and scenery for all Casa Mañana productions and events.
- Ordering paint and mixing color.
- Maintain the Scene Shop and Theatre paint areas.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties as requested by technical director.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able/willing to work at height (ladders/lifts).
- Must be able/willing to lift and move scenery and material.
- Must be well versed in scenic painting techniques and processes.
- Must have knowledge of scenic paint and finishing products.
- Must be able to read and interpret line art and color paint elevations.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
- Experience with drop painting and layout
- Experience with CAD (no preference on software)
- Experience with digital drawing software

REPORTS TO: Shop Foreman/Technical Director
HOURS: Full time, non-exempt. Hours based on theatre schedule and will include nights and weekends.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build props and scenery for 10-11 full productions per year plus events and educational programs
- Load ins and strikes of all productions and events
- Operation and maintenance of Casa Mañana’s facilities
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment
- Perform other responsibilities and duties as requested by technical director
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able/willing to work at height (ladders/lifts/theater grid)
- Must be able/willing to lift and move heavy scenery and material
- Must be able/willing to drive company box truck (will train)
- Understands stage directions
- Some stagecraft knowledge
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
- Experience in scenic carpentry and layout
- Experience in metals fabricating/MIG welding
- Experience with rigging for theatre

REPORTS TO: Director of Education
HOURS: Schedule is flexible but 1-2 working days/week is ideal. Our office is open Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm. Our after school classes are Monday-Thursday anywhere from 4:30pm to 7:30pm, depending on the day and the class. The Casa Mañana School for Musical Theatre offers theatre classes for ages 4 to 18 years old.
Education Interns will work alongside professionals in Casa Mañana Education Department. Interns directly report to the Director of the School for Musical Theatre and work alongside the Education Manager. Interns meet with the Director of the School at the middle of their internship (October) and then again at the end in December to discuss their experience and progress.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare for classes, assist with lesson plans, create programs, work in Canva and Microsoft Office, assist with office duties, etc.
- Assist with planning for The Betty Lynn Buckley Awards (organize Buckley materials, scan documents, etc.)
- Attend bi-weekly staff meetings
- Assist with classes in the School for Musical Theatre based on needs/skills of the intern, for example: create choreography, serve as teaching assistant in the Acting, Dance or Musical Theatre classes
- Assist other departments as needed
Interns may have the opportunity to extend their internship into the Spring Semester. Interns may earn school or course credit. Interns may also be able to sit in on rehearsals and performances of Casa Mañana Mainstage shows.

REPORTS TO: House Manager
OBJECTIVE: Provide excellent customer service and maintain a smooth operation of the bar and merchandise areas. Work in a fun environment.
HOURS: Evening and Weekend hours based on weekly theatre schedule, not to exceed 40 hrs per week without prior approval.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Ensure that operations run smoothly for patrons who attend the theatre
- Be TABC licensed and maintain all guidelines according to TABC
- Help managers maintain inventory
- Stock bar and merchandise
- Take payments through Square and give correct change to patrons
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Perform other responsibilities and duties as requested
- Table service experience a plus
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent, some college
SKILLS:
