Kelsey Dahlke
Director of Casa Mañana School for Musical Theatre and Spotlight 7th+ Teacher
Kelsey Dahlke is the Director of the Casa Mañana School for Musical Theatre. She has a background in both teaching, stage management and performing. Kelsey studied Drama at Texas Woman’s University and earned a master’s in educational leadership from UT Tyler. She spent six years teaching theatre in public schools, including running her own theatre department at a middle school in Keller ISD for four years. During her time there, she won several awards for UIL One Act Play, directed more than 20 plays and musicals, and saw her program’s numbers grow significantly. Before teaching, Kelsey worked as both an actress and stage manager in various theatres in North Texas. In 2014, she moved to California, where she worked with The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, Scripps Ranch Theatre, and appeared in TV shows like The Last Ship and Pitch. Some of her favorite roles include Margot in The Diary of Anne Frank and Elaine in Arsenic and Old Lace.
