Camp Counselors at Casa Mañana spend part of their summer behind-the-scenes of a professional theatre, helping teaching artists and Casa Mañana staff create an amazing experience for our Campers!
Completed applications include an application form and a letter of recommendation. Ask a teacher or coach who knows you well to write a brief recommendation for you. You may either upload the letter into your application or have your recommender email education@casamanana.org – please include ‘COUNSELOR APPLICATION’ and your name in the subject line.
Camp Casa: High School
Camp Casa: High School is a two-week camp for students grades 9-12. Counselors will work alongside directors, teachers, and staff and lead campers in rehearsals, classes and performances.
REQUIREMENTS: Camp Casa: High School Counselors must be at least 20 years old and currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate institution. Counselors must be available for both weeks of Camp Casa: High School.
Stipend: $250/week ($500 total)
Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday and Saturday, June 14 from 9:30am-4:30pm.
Counselors are highly encouraged to assist with auditions on Wednesday, June 4 starting at 2pm.

Camp Casa
Camp Casa is a three-week camp for students grades 3-8. Counselors will work alongside directors, teachers, and staff and lead campers in rehearsals, classes and performances.
REQUIREMENTS: Camp Counselors must be at least 18 years old and currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate institution. Camp Casa CITs must be between 15 and 17 years old. Counselors and CITs must be available for all three weeks of Camp Casa.
Stipend: $250/week ($750 total)
Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday
June 23 – July 13
Performances July 11-13
(No Camp July 4)
Camp Casa Jr.
Camp Casa Jr. is a series of 1-week camps for ages 4-8. Camps will have a morning session from 9am-12:30pm and an afternoon session from 1:30pm-5pm. Students will use their voice, body and imagination to explore a fun, creative environment. Final presentations will be held on the last day of each session.
REQUIREMENTS: Camp Counselors must be at least 18 years old and currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate institution. Camp Casa Jr. Counselors-in-Training (CITs) must be between 14 and 17 years old.
Stipend: $125/session (Commitment to all sessions is preferred, but not required.)
Hours: Morning session: 8:30am – 1pm; Afternoon session: 1pm – 5:30pm.

Safari Adventures: August 4-8
