About Roald Martinsen

Roald worked for 27 years as a professional actor (theatre, film, small screen, commercial, and voice over). He has been involved in hundreds of Theatre productions. Roald has taught 5A/6A High Schools for 13 years, coaching student auditions for colleges throughout the USA. During that time his students also won many acting, and design competitions for OAP and Musical Theatre competitions.

His students have reached Regional’s twice and alternate to State once in OAP. He has coached Design Students as well to 2nd, 3rd, and 5th place in UIL State Costume Design, and 5th place Set Design. Having taught 7 years of Middle School, he is very well familiar with young thespians as well.

Roald also adjudicates the High School Betty Buckley Awards for Casa Mañana. He is on the Board of Directors of Circle Theatre in Fort Worth.
