Lana K. Hoover returns after starring in Always… Patsy Cline, to understudy the roles of “Ouiser” and “Clairee!” We are so excited to have her back under the Dome. Don’t miss Steel Magnolias, July 23-31.
Lana looks forward to, “any scene where all the girls are together!” When asked about the roles, she says, “Since I am the understudy for both Ouiser and Clairee, there are several ways I relate. Clairee and I both are fairly sarcastic, and Ousier and I are both crabby and cutting! I love them both.”
When it comes to learning her lines, Lana is old school, “I record and cue my lines on an old Radio Shack recorder.”
Lana’s most memorable haircut was at Trudy’s Beauty Shop in Azle, TX. “It was called “The Bubble,” and my mom rolled my hair in pin curls every night.”
