Coffeehouse Cabaret nights are a chance for CMSMT students to perform, build confidence and learn from each other!

The next Coffeehouse Cabaret will be on Thursday, October 1 at 7pm.

Deadline to sign up is Monday, September 21 at 9am. Limited spots available!

Mandatory rehearsal with the pianist will be from 4:30-6:15pm in the Cabaret on October 1.

You may choose to sing alone, with a friend, or up to three friends. No more than 4 people in a group. Everyone must have sheet music and be able to sing their song with a pianist. Please use the Music Notes app to look for sheet music and practice with an accompaniment.

Your song must be from a musical. If you’re looking for a pop song, we recommend looking at jukebox musicals. Examples include: & Juliet, Once Upon a One More Time, MJ, Mamma Mia! and Head Over Heels.

Looking for ideas? Our song suggestions include: Popular (Wicked), Everlasting (Tuck Everlasting), Just One Day (Freaky Friday), Tomorrow (Annie), If Only You Would Listen (School of Rock), Quiet (Matilda), Naughty (Matilda), Happiness (You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown), I Know it’s Today (Shrek), Start of Something New (High School Musical)

Please Note: There are only 20 spots available. Sign up in advance as availability is on a first come, first served basis.
