Les Misérables tells the story of Jean Valjean, petty thief turned honest citizen. Following his release from prison, he becomes the mayor of a prosperous town and a loving, adoptive father. But his quest for deliverance is continuously thwarted by the relentless Inspector Javert. This epic tale, set in nineteenth century France is a great emotional story for all as Valjean strives and finally succeeds at redemption.
This Broadway classic is performed entirely by students.
